Y6 Problem Solving

Ram divided 15 pennies into 4 small bags.
He labeled each bag with the number of pennies inside it.
He could then pay any sum of money from 1p to 15p without opening any bag.
How many pennies did Ram put in each bag?

Y6 French

Madame Young, from Cromer Academy, is continuing her work with us on French clothing.

Sharing our stories about The Highwayman

After careful editing and improving, we finished our stories based on the poem The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes and read them to each other. We had to retell the story from the one of the characters points of view. In these photos you can see us self-assessing our work and target setting.

Tudor day in year 5

We had a brilliant visitor today -SAM, THE TUDOR MAN - who told us all about Tudor life and times. We looked at a range of artifacts and weapons; played Tudor games; danced Tudor dances; and even watched him fire a musket! A fabulous day.
