After the disappointment of postponing our visit because of the snow, Year 4 were very pleased to go to Thetford Museum this week. The children played detectives to help solve the identity of a mystery skeleton in what was thought to be a Roman burial! It was a great opportunity to handle real Roman artefacts. We had a lovely day with may highlights. Museum staff commented on how well behaved the children were, well done Year 4!!

Year 4 finished their maps topic with some orienteering skills. Each class came up with some maths questions which were hidden around the playground. Using maps, the children had to locate and solve the questions. It was a great way to finish the week and the children really enjoyed themselves!

Children from across the school took part in a cross country meet yesterday at North Walsham junior school. Those involved had already come in the top 6 runners from the cluster. Several children will now go on to represent North Norfolk at a county meet next month. A special well done to Bryce, Leah, Henry, George, Luke , Daniel and Jake for getting through to the county finals.
Today in year 5 there was a grand opening of our artists' gallery. The exhibits were works of art created by the children, based on the styles of great UK artists such as Bridget Riley , John Constable and David Hockney. As you can see, we all celebrated with a cocktail party.
