CROSS COUNTRY

Last week many children from each year group took part in the Cromer and Sheringham cross country, this year held at Holt Hall, which gave the children a better experience of a true cross country course. The runners made  a great effort and there will be 29 representatives from CJS into the next round (North Norfolk finals).

Alice in Wonderland

This morning we were treated to an absolutely fabulous production of Alice in Wonderland, from M & M productions. Adults and children joined in and we all thoroughly enjoyed it ☺.

Presenting data

Today our maths challenge was - Can I present data effectively? Some of us used pie charts. There was a lot of new maths involved, percentages, angles, formulas, to name a few! We rose to the challenge and the answer was... YES! We can present data effectively ☺

Y3 cooking

Today 3o made carrot cake muffins. They followed a recipe carefully and worked well in groups. Tomorrow they will evaluate their product.

How Hill day 3

After a good night sleep, we finished our residential visit with 2 more exciting activities! First, we visited Toad Hole Cottage to see how a family of 11 would have managed in such a tiny space. Then, we practised our map skills with some orienteering! The children all had a fantastic time, as did the adults!!

Monday Assembly

Sportasaurus was awarded this morning, unfortunately he wasn't able to attend in person, but will be back very soon.
Johnny from Cromer church talked to us.
Mr deNeve told us about events that happened this week in the past.
